still in shock

i literally cannot believe what has happened. what is wrong with people?  

i was stressing so much last night, even on our local ballot measures that i ended up watching Botched on Netflix and going to bed.  i was jolted out of sleep at 4:00am and i turned on the TV.  i thought i was in a nightmare.  

but it's real. 

we will now have the anti-christ and Robin in the White House. we will be stripped of rights, lose SS, medicare and medicaid, lose Obamacare, lose the right to vote, and i could go on and on.  

he said "Vote for me one more time and you'll never have to vote again."  we all know what he meant. no more democracy.  just fascism and a dictatorship.

for all of you who thought your vote wouldn't matter, fuck you.

to all of you who voted for a megalomaniac, malignant narcissist, misogynist, blatant racist, hateful, evil and deranged lunatic, fuck you. 

and i mean that from the bottom of my broken heart.  

i guess there is something to be said for growing older.  maybe i'll pass before the year is out and won't have to deal with the absolute nightmare that is to come.  and when your friends or family are deported, or your daughters are stripped of their rights to vote and have healthcare, don't you EVER complain.  

yea for Colorado making women's health care rights part of the state constitution so you MAGAts can't ever take that away from women in this state.  

yea for Colorado for taking out language that says only a man and woman have the right to marry.

yea for Colorado for voting against rank choice voting. 

but fuck you for voting against the ban on hunting mountain lions, bobcats and lynx for fun.  

and fuck you for Lauren Boebert.
