who in the hell is the Pope to approve changes to allegedly "God's" word?
WHAT??
omg.
as i have shared in the past, i lost my faith long ago. however, i was raised in the Lutheran religion from birth until my mid-30s, and then participated in a non-denominational Christian for another 10 years.
i am very schooled in Christianity.
#1 - Thou Shalt Have No Other gods before me. - so those crazy catholics pray to the Pope. exhault him. praise him.
#2 - Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them .... yea, so um, this Pope thing? so if there really IS a god, and there is a judgment day, y'all catholics are going to be in for a very rude awakening.
#3 - I am the way, the truth and the light. No one comes to the father except through me. yea, so that means you should pray to no other entity. just Jesus. but y'all pray to the Pope (and the Virgin Mary) (and the Saints). so how come? when it's clearly said not to?
because in the Catholic religion people are following what a MAN said to do. some man, somewhere back in time said this is what you're supposed to do.
and what about confession? the bible talks about confessing your sins to God in prayer and asking for forgiveness. WHO decided that a priest should be the one to hear your confession and THEN dole out punishment??? interesting excerpt i just read:

Why confess to a priest?
Non-Catholics, however often ask whether they can confess their sins directly to God, and whether God can forgive them without going through a priest.

“I
believe that by confessing to a priest, I’m sharing my innermost secret
with someone who is closer to God and he will counsel without
condemning me, says Patricia Atim, a Catholic at St Carmel Church in
Kansanga adding: “My Anglican friends sometimes ask me why we confess to
a priest instead of God?”
“Priesta are closer to God than I’m. I feel at peace after confession and I have an assurance of confidentiality no matter how extreme my acts are,” she explains.

The Sacrament of Penance, commonly known as confession, is one of the
seven sacraments recognised by the Catholic Church. Catholics believe
that all of the sacraments were instituted by Jesus Christ and, in the
case of Confession, that institution occurred on Easter Sunday, when
Christ first appeared to the apostles after His resurrection.
In
the church doctrine, Catholics should go to confession at least once a
year, preferably during the Easter season. Those who commit mortal, or
serious, sins like adultery and murder should not receive Communion
without first going to confession.
WHAT? who in the hell said priests are closer to god??? WHAT? um you mean all the millions of priests who have molested little boys? those priests? and confession is one of the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church, which were created by a man, NOT God.
so back to the original question, who gives the current Pope the right to change The Lord's Prayer??
i am dumbfounded at the audacity of the Catholic Church, their ridiculous claims and the "pope" claiming he has the right and authority to change something in the Christian faith.
if you read the BIBLE (not any additional texts by man), then you will know that the Catholic Church is full of instructions that go completely against what the bible tells you.
