now this one, i've been to many times. every time i traveled to NYC for work, i went there.
again, while i don't now consider myself religious, you have to appreciate the true magnificence of a building such as this (or the Notre Dame Cathedral).
to think that some freaking copy-cat arsonist was going to set St. Patrick's ablaze is astounding.

i get probably more than a lot of catholics experienced abuse as a child in the catholic religion and people could be angry, why take that out on a building? that did nothing to you? to burn down something created centuries ago?
what is the point of this?

i'm glad he was immediately stopped. not hard to figure what his intention was with gallons of gasoline, lighter fluid and lighters.
